Bryce Canyon is high-density storage that provides a 20 percent higher Hard Disk Drive (HDD) density and is designed to support more powerful workloads, processes, and memory, improving thermal and power efficiency by taking in the air underneath the chassis.

Bryce Canyon provides a powerful disaggregated storage capability with easy scalability compared to other storage platforms. The Bryce Canyon storage system supports up to 72 3.5″ hard drives (12 Gb SAS/6 Gb SATA). The Bryce Canyon can be configured as a 72 drive JBOD with the Western Digital Ultrastar 14TB or 16TB Data Center HDDs.

This flexibility further simplifies and streamlines data center operations, reducing the number of storage platform configurations that would need to be supported.
